Virtual London and New York Marathon in 2 weeks. - 06/10/2020

Ruth A completed the first virtual London Marathon on Sunday 4th October, unwittingly earning a certificate as being Officially Amazing, for the largest virtual marathon.

By being a part of 'Run Your Way' it meant Ruth could run with her friend Bill in his wheelchair. Bill was paralysed in an accident 3 years ago, and they together raised more than £2000 for Spinal Research.

2 weeks later, Ruth completed another virtual marathon, this time the cancelled New York City to replace the intended trip to the Chicago marathon. This raised much needed funds for the British Lung Foundation and Young Minds.

Lets hope next year will see the return of group races, crowd support helps so much!
